The two Canadian singers dated when Drake was 16. He rhymes in “Deceiving”:
“What up Tessa, I love you like my own mama / And your daughter’s getting grown, mama / And me, I’m just here working, waiting / patient for her to be ready to love and leave alone drama.”
Tessa is Keshia Chante’s mother. He talks to Much Music about dating her HERE. Now he’s jumped on a track for her that originally Freeway was supposed to be on and they sound great together.
