Video: Gripplyaz Explains ‘Purp, Wind & Fire’

Posted in Video

Gripplyaz invited Motion Family and Gavin Godfrey to the studio to share what exactly the title of his new project Purp, Wind & Fire means. He says purp is what he writes about when he’s extremely high. Wind is what he writes when he has serious issues on his mind like child support and the dram that goes along with relationships. Fire is that hard shit that everyone like him best for. I like the way he puts it all together, he’s much more hood than hipster but who else would have thought of a hook that says Shawty catch it like Plaxico Buress? Definitely looking forward to this project to hear what the next Atlanta anthem is going to be.

“Blowin purple stuff swerving down Ocho Cinco”
