New visuals from Sophia Fresh off of the Step Up 3D soundtrack.  This is the  first released video from the trio in years although they were supposed to perform what became Diamond’s unsuccessful single Superbad.  Their version was actually much better because they were singing more with it.  Sophia Fresh is a girl group out of Texas that T-Pain signed to Atlantic Records.   I actually really like them, they are like a fresher, hotter version of  Cherish.

Shot in the Virgin Islands by Cae Green @Jamal_SF2D, you can see many different tourist sites and the  shopping offered in St. Thomas such as Bvlgari and Louis Vuitton.  The video then takes you from the luxury of Main Street to the projects of Oswald Harris Court where Rock City grew up, through Michael J. Kirwan Terrace and Paul M. Pearson Gardens other housing projects in St. Thomas.  It show’s you the contrast between what a visitor would see and the difficult life of some of the people who actually grow up there.  The visuals are shot in black and white in the evening to emphasive the bleakness of the island that you won’t really notice if you’re not from there.  New mixtape from Rock City coming very very soon.

Happy Birthday to Tupac the single greatest influence of the hip hop world to date.  No one could combine with eloquence the topics of socialism, aggresion, sexualism, chauvinism and poverty.  Many have tried but few can make it real that’s because there’s no rapper with a back story like Tupac’s.  Here’s an audio tape I found on Kevin Nottingham for Pac’s bday.

This video just came out two days ago and it already has over 70,000 views. That should be an indication of how awesome Ok Go is and of course how the video is.  Very cool and energetic.  From  the album Of The Blue Colour of the Sky, it was shot at LA’s  Echo Park and is directed by OK Go, Eric Gunther, and Jeff Lieberman.

Um ok…so is this really Keyshia Cole?  This reminds me of when they get a random chick to redo songs for the little kiddie mix cd’s…so not at the top of Keyshia’s potential.  I respect her for trying to be different but this just isn’t her.  I’d expect this from Celine Dion, not Keyshia Cole. -@favoredchick
